TSAG Releases 2009 Annual Report

Washington, DC - Transportation Safety Advancement Group (TSAG) Chair Dia Gainor has announced the release of the TSAG 2009 Annual Report, noting that the Report identifies over 2500 volunteer hours invested by TSAG members in advancing the TSAG Mission. Chair Gainor notes, "The Report demonstrates the value of TSAG's partnership with the US DOT, Research and Innovative Technologies Administration (RITA), ITS Joint Program Office," as we pursue advancements in the safety of travelers and of the public safety professionals who serve them....
TSAG SUBMITS COMMENTS TO USDOT STRATEGIC PLAN FOR Research,

TSAG has offered a number of emergency responder safety recommendations to the US Department of Transportation's Strategic Plan for Research Development & Technology Activities (RD&TA). In responding to the US DOT invitation for comments on the RD&TA Plan, TSAG Chair Dia Gainor noted:"We applaud the US DOT and the Research & Innovative Technology Administration for an aggressive Research Plan, especially as it pursues evolving technologies for public safety."

Transportation Safety Advancement Group Elects 2010 Leaders

Washington D.C. October 1 - - The Transportation Safety Advancement Group (TSAG) elected its 2010-2011 Officers at its October 1 Fall Business Meeting. TSAG Members reelected Chair Dia Gainor to a second term, and elected Sergeant Dan Dytchkowskyj as its new Vice Chair. Both Dia and Dan bring extraordinary levels of experience, commitment and passion to the Transportation Safety Advancement Group and its mission....
