Dia Gainor has served as the Bureau Chief of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for the State of Idaho for fifteen years. She has a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Health Services Administration and a Masters degree in Public Administration. Dia, a past President of the National Association of State EMS Officials has been involved in several activities of national significance to EMS, including the formation of the Public Safety Advisory Group, now the Transportation Safety Advancement Group. Sgt Dytchkowskyj has been with the Erie County Sheriff's Office for seven years where he currently serves as manager of Sheriff's Office Communications Center. In addition to this assignment, he is a member of the Sheriff's Underwater Recovery Team and regularly instructs at the Erie County Law Enforcement Training Academy. Dan has a diverse and accomplished emergency services background spanning over 25 years. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Health Services Administration from the University of Maryland-Baltimore County with a special focus in law enforcement, emergency medical services, hazardous materials response, and emergency management. Rick Comerford has over 25 years experience in emergency management. He served as an officer in the Rhode Island National Guard and upon his retirement became Emergency Manager for Orange County and The City of Orlando, Florida. Currently, he is Director of Exercises, Training, and Performance and Operations for NC4, the National Center for Crisis and Continuity Coordination. In this capacity, he directs implementation of NC4 products and guides development of emergency management programs and response plans for emergencies and crisis for national and international clients and jurisdictions. Rick earned a BS in Industrial Technology from Rhode Island College and an MA in International Relations from Salve Regina University. Chief Mike Brown is Executive Director of the Washington State Association of Fire Chiefs and has over 40 years of fire service experience including 30 years as a Fire Chief. He has served in leadership positions as President of the International Association of Fire Chiefs, President of the Western Fire Chiefs Association, and President of the Washington State Association of Fire Chiefs. Michele D. Bunn is an Associate Professor of Business at the University of Montevallo in Alabama. She received her Ph.D. from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill after earning MBA and BA degrees from Michigan State University. Mickey’s research specialties are stakeholder behavior and collaboration, innovation, organizational buying behavior, plus in business-to-business marketing. In particular, her research focuses on the collaboration of public and private stakeholders in their efforts to develop integrated intelligent transportation systems (ITS) for public safety and transportation mobility. She has conducted ITS research through the University Transportation Center for Alabama (UTCA) and is immediate past chair of ITS America’s Homeland Security and Public Safety Forum and serves on the TSAG Executive Committee. |

John is the State Traffic Engineer for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and has held positions of Freeway Operations Engineer and ITS Program Manager for the metropolitan Milwaukee area. He also serves as President of the National Association of EMS Physicians, an organization of physicians and others partnering to provide leadership and foster excellence in out of hospital emergency medical services. Through his career, Ted has shared an interest in Emergency Medical Services, Trauma Management and Cardiac Care, among other public safety target areas. He completed his residency at the University of Pittsburg and earned his MD from Eastern Virginia Medical School and MPH from the University of Pittsburg. Before coming to East Carolina University, he served as Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Pittsburg. Dr. Delbridge has served several noteworthy efforts, more notably as a principal investigator for NHTSA's EMS Agenda for the Future. Jim Goerke received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Design and Urban Planning from the California Polytechnic University. He later earned a Masters in Public Administration with emphasis in urban and regional affairs from the University of Oklahoma, and later a Certificate in Telecommunications from the Graduate College of Engineering at the University of Texas. Jim has 30 years experience in regional planning, program development, emergency communications and services delivery. T.J. Nedrow joined the Transportation Safety Advancement Group in 2002, representing the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC). He has served as a fire service volunteer since 1975, serving as volunteer Command Officer for Lacey (WA) Fire District #3. He is active with the Washington State Fire Fighters’ Association, the Washington Governor’s Fire Protection Policy Board, and the Washington Traffic Incident Management Coalition. T.J. has been with the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) since 1979 and currently serves as Transportation Planning Specialist and as a technical resource for the WSDOT statewide Incident Response program. Nancy Pollock is the retired Executive Director of the Metropolitan Emergency Services Board (MESB). The MESB coordinates and oversees the Enhanced 9-1-1 system in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area, the Metro Region EMS Program, and the Public Safety Regional Radio System. Prior to her work with the Metropolitan Emergency Services Board, Nancy served as the 911 Communications Director for St. Louis County, in northern Minnesota.
